Controlling

Seagoing vessels have to operate with low sulphur fuels of 0,1% in ECA areas from January 2015. That means, that the diesel engines have to run with MGO fuels. The MGO must be cooled down to assure a viscosity not lower than 1,5 cSt.
 

MARINE TECHNIK delivers Cooler or Cooler Units automatic controlled or manual operated. Adapted to the diesel engine and the fuel system.

    Each HFO/MGO change over procedure is stressing the affected components. Fully automated systems help to save them.

    Automatic fuel change over valve skid with one common control box for three auxiliary-/ generator engines.
    Time delayed change over of the return-line valve ensures, that no HFO enter into the MDO tank.
    Each valve group be operated locally on the control box or from ECR. Automatic change over from HFO to MDO in case of voltage supply breakdown or working air pressure loss.

    Change over from HFO to MDO and vice versa is stress for the injection elements of the diesel engine.
    The integrated temperature compensating tank ensures a smoothly temperature adation to the engine.
