Fuel consumption measuring

Modification of the fuel measuring system can save fuel. Fuel oil consumption of main- and auxiliary engines will be measured by coriolis type flow meters in kilogram per hour.
These values will be calculated in connection with the ships position (GPS). The actual consumption
will be indicated on displays on the bridge and in the engine control room.

The effect of fuel consumption by changes in engine power and/or trim is visible immediately!
